Transcontinental Hotel

The Transcontinental Hotel is located at the northerm end of the Brisbane CBD.

The existing Pool Room was demolished and renovated with the assistance of DA2 Design and Architects. This room was carefully designed to accommodate a new Gaming Room, Restrooms and Outdoor Smoking Area.

The Gaming Room was relocated to increase floor space for the new TAB facility – this upgrade made it one of the largest facilities in the area. With the increase of patronage, the existing bar facility could not accommodate the increased trade, however the client was not at a stage to renovate the whole bar and therefore we completed some minor works to the existing bar to increase its serving area whilst still maintaining the original design in keeping with its heritage.
